Celebrating China’s National Day – Important Notice
From October 1st to 7th, we proudly celebrate China’s National Day, one of the most significant holidays in the country. This day marks the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1st, 1949.
This historic moment symbolizes the beginning of a new era for China, celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. During this time, streets and public spaces are adorned with flags and flowers, while festivities feature impressive civic-military parades, culminating in spectacular fireworks and light shows at night.
Since 1999, the Chinese government extended the celebrations to an entire week, creating the Golden Week. During these days, all government offices, businesses, and even embassies and consulates around the world pause their activities to celebrate the country's progress and unity.
At UTSTEEL, we proudly share this national pride. The values celebrated on China’s National Day—strength, innovation, and continuous growth—also guide our journey. Since our founding, we have upheld these principles, dedicating ourselves to providing high-quality steel that supports the development of infrastructure for our partners both in China and globally.
