Application:Due to its excellent overall performance, XPM is particularly suitable for the manufacture of plastic molds that require high surface gloss, corrosion resistance and dimensional accuracy:
1. High-gloss surface molds: automotive interior parts (dashboard, center console, door panels, decorative strips)
home appliance housings (TVs, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerator panels)
cosmetic packaging containers (caps, bottles)
cell phone, computer housings and components
transparent parts molds (lamp lenses, light guides, optics - very high purity required)
2. Moulds with high corrosion resistance requirements:
Processing of PVC (hard, soft), flame retardant (halogenated) plastics (ABS, PC/ABS, etc.), POM, PC, PA, and other materials that are prone to corrosive gases.
3. Long-life, high-precision molds: Precision molds that require stable dimensions and good wear resistance.
4. The bite (texture) requires a fine, clear mold.

Introduction: XPM is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel, belonging to the category of pre-hardening plastic mould steel category of steel, XPM mould steel is reasonably added 1% nickel content, good pre-hardness. Due to the addition of nickel elements to improve its hardenability, large cross-section thick plate hardness distribution uniformity, machinability, and polishing performance have been greatly improved.
