100Cr6 bearing steel has good comprehensive properties, quenched and tempered, high and uniform hardness, good wear resistance, high contact fatigue strength. The steel has good hot workability, good machinability and post-processed balls. 100Cr6 is a fully hardened Bearing steel for rolling contact and other high fatigue applications. High hardness in the hardened state, high strength and high cleanliness provide the steel with the correct properties to withstand high cycle, high stress fatigue. 100Cr6 is mainly used for small to medium bearing components . It is also frequently used in other machine parts requiring high tensile strength and high hardness. Hardenability corresponds approximately to the largest ring. 17 mm wall thickness.
